Now that prices for lcd, tft and plasma screens are going down hill, and the sizes on the other hand keep going up and up, it's time Purchase Reviews paid some attention to these screens.

We chose to review the HP W2207 screen.

Off course, there are more players on the market then just HP. There's Samsung, with it's SyncMasters Series. Nice screens, high resolutions, slim frames, outstanding performance. And we have, off course, bench marker Iiyama, known for it's outstanding quality and endurance.

So why review the HP, which has – to be honest – a fairly low refresh rate of 5 ms?

Because, baby, they're hot! HP choose to equip their W-series with slick styling, glossy frames and a cool design. Placing a HP W2207 on your desk, says something about YOU. Instead of going out and getting yourself the most functional flat screen that's out there, with an HP W-series on your desk you state that actual thinking went into the details of your office. You're not the actual geek with the highest refresh rate, the widest viewing angle or the slimmest frame around the screen. You're the guy that buys quality but yet knows design, the guy that has an eye for detail and pays attention to the little things in life. Babes love this. So the HP W2207 is not just a screen, it's actually a babe magnet!
