ImageBigger is better, especially when it comes to LCD screen on digital cameras. Over the last period, an increase can be seen on the proportions of LCD screens. More recently, screens are getting huge. Also Fuji is following this trend. Purchase Reviews’ test panel is taking a look at Fuji’s full breed, the Fine Pix Z2.

 The Z2 comes with a 5.1 Megapixel Super CCD Image Capture that works amazingly fast. From off to on takes about 0.6 seconds. Taking a shot takes about 0.01 seconds, so nothing to worry about there. The screen was enhanced by Fuji by raising the number of pixels up to 232.000. On top of that, the screen was given an enhanced glass layer, 35 times harder then normal glass.

 The Z2 is equipped with an infra red port, so your photos can be send to your Fujifilm MP-70 printer, if you have one off course. But considering most laptops are standard equipped with an IR port nowadays, this feature must come in handy also for those who are not the proud owner of such a printer, when sending the pics wireless from camera to pc.

 Fuji built the Z2 especially for bad light conditions. The cameras sensitivity ranges from ISO 64 thru 1600, thanks to Fuji’s new Real Photo Technology, which increases the processing speed. This also makes it easier to capture fast moving object. The camera is actually thinking for you, aiding with focusing and enhancing lightning. So now you can even capture those unsuspected moment in Fuji colors . . . .
